OK button not working...

I am trying to get MSSQL Reporting Services working. I have used it before, but now I have the opportunity to get the software entrenched in my organization. I installed the app and it opens up, but when I try to create a new folder the software will not allow the OK choice. I can cancel, but I need to choose OK.

I have installed the app, SP2, and a hotfix that is on the website. Help....
What happens when you try to click the OK button, or is it disabled?|||Thanks. The button presses, but doesn't "click". To fix it, I just copied the folder from my local IIS installation and now it works perfectly.|||hmm... it could just be the browser you are using. the first time i used reporting services (without reading the requirements specs - who wants to waste time on that kinda ***? ) i was working on mozilla and most of the functionality got disabled. the safest browser to use with reporting services is ie.

reinstalling .Net doesn't bring any good news either.

I even put the physical name in machine.conf in the root of .Net and still nothing

Ok button not responding

I installed the developer version of reporting services
and I am having problems getting things entered in the
admin screens. When I go to the "New Data Source"
screen, the OK button does nothing. I have no script
errors on the page, and have other .net applications
running on the web server. I also have problems when
trying to update roles/security. I get an error when
click the ok button telling me that I need to select at
least 1 role even though I have them selected.I ran this command and all my .net pages stopped
responding. I had to uninstall .net and reinstall, and
then uninstall RS and reinstall and I still have the same
problem.
Any suggestions?

I ran into something like this before. Reporting services installs to your
default website. When things get moved around (like I tried to do), your root
website can be missing the aspnet_client folder (usually found in
c:\inetpub\wwwroot). Just copy this folder over to the root of your website.
That folder contains some java scripts that contain some generic code which
is required for RS to execute the commands in the manager.

copying the aspnet_client to the root of both of the RS
virtual directories (out of frustration) but still no
luck. I assume it is an asp problem, just not sure what
it needs. I havent done anything "wierd" with the server
or any of the installs.

I hope than somebody can help me to fix my reporting services server.
I can upload reports on my reportin services server i dont know why but when
i press the OK button nothings happend everything is working bit i need to to
ulpload to new reports but i can't...
maybe if smebody know some diagnostic tool than can help to fix the problem

Thanks.This happened to me once. But with the Apply button in the parameters section
of the report manager. This indicates the installation of reporting services
is corrupted and I had to reinstall it on the server.
Maybe that's not the problem for you, but it solved my problem.

Usuall this occurs due to a problem with ASP.net. Try running the asp.net 1.1 command aspnet_regiis.exe -ir and then aspnet_regiis.exe -s W3SVC/1/ROOT/Reports (change Reports if you do not have the default name).

After this try again, make sure to do a ctrl F5 on the browser to ensure you have the latest scripts.

We have installed SQL Server 2005 with Reporting Service in a Windows 2003 Box. While working with the Reporting Manager through the browser we are gettting a strange problem. Whenever we are making any changes through Reporting Manager and trying to save the OK or Apply button is doing absolutely nothing. The button is enabled and is also getting 'pressed' once clicked but nothing is happening - no errors, no server trips.

In the 'New Data Sources' option whenever we are trying to change an option, we are also getting an Object Not Found javascript error.

We have enabled anonymous access for both Reports and ReportServer web services and the user for that access is a member of the machine's Administrators group. The reporting service configuration also is all green.

Can someone Help!!

In the 'New Data Sources' option whenever we are trying to change an option, we are also getting an Object Not Found javascript error.

We have enabled anonymous access for both Reports and ReportServer web services and the user for that access is a member of the machine's Administrators group. The reporting service configuration also is all green.

Can someone Help!!

OK button doesn't Work In Report Manager RS2000

Hi, i have a new instalation of RS2000 under Windows 2003 Server SP1
with a fresh reaplied Windows Service Pack 1 and RS2000 Service Pack 2.
My problem is that any page of the report manager with a "OK" button,
that button doen't do nothing, it is enabled bu doesn't do any action.
Can't figure this one out

PS: Is did work early on this machine but stop working without notice,
or any change at all.

RgranadaIf there is an error in the page (E.g Missing Entry) it will be displayed in
the page in Red.
Do you see any Error message in the IE status bar. (i.e other than Done
message)?

Odd sqldatasource insert behavior

I have a sqldatasource (code listed below) whose insert Paramaters are control parameters. My aspx page has a textbox and a submit button. the button onclick runs the sqdatasource1.insert.

What I get is every other insert inserts the text in textbox2 and every other insert enters nothing for the namecust value. I have a required field validator which correctly prevents submission if textbox2 is empty.

How do I fix this?

Never mind, complete stupidity on my part the altenate row style had white background and white text.
